Job Summary
As a Research Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role within the due diligence operations team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee the editorial review process and ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of our research products and services. This role requires close collaboration with Research Analysts and Team Leaders to uphold our editorial standards and deliver insightful, risk-sensitive reports that meet client needs. You will also contribute to training efforts and help shape the continuous improvement of research and reporting workflows.

As a Research Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role within the due diligence operations team. This role requires close collaboration with Research Analysts and Team Leaders to uphold our editorial standards and deliver insightful, risk-sensitive reports that meet client needs. You will also contribute to training efforts and help shape the continuous improvement of research and reporting workflows.
Role and Responsibilities
- Editorial Oversight:
Lead the review and editing of all due diligence reports and written deliverables to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance with internal standards and client expectations. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure reports are well-structured, meet client objectives, and reflect accurate analysis of key integrity risks, including reputational, regulatory, legal, and ESG-related issues. - Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Research Team Leaders and Analysts to provide editorial guidance, promote best practices, and drive consistent performance across the team. - Training & Mentorship:
Support the onboarding and ongoing training of analysts in research methodologies, risk frameworks, and report writing. Deliver targeted coaching to strengthen editorial and analytical quality. - Operational Support:
Assist the Director of Operations in implementing editorial policies, streamlining workflows, and identifying areas for improvement across the research process. - Knowledge Development:
Stay current on key compliance and integrity risk themes, and help develop team knowledge on sector-specific, jurisdictional, and regulatory issues.
Qualifications, Skills & Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, business, law, or related field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
- 3–4+ years of experience in editorial roles within legal, compliance, consulting, or investigative research environments.
- Exceptional research and writing skills, with demonstrated experience producing or reviewing investigative reports or client-facing documentation.
- Strong understanding of compliance risk areas, including anti-bribery and corruption (FCPA/UK Bribery Act), sanctions, fraud, money laundering, ESG, and third-party risk.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online research tools; experience with social media and corporate databases preferred.
- High degree of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
- Language skills in one or more of the following languages are a strong asset: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Lithuanian, Arabic, French, Polish, Czech.
